Joe Biden has done so very much for our country. We're grateful for the work over his years of service, but especially during the last four years, as we've begun to heal from the Trump presidency.
President Biden made a brave and selfless choice, to step aside, proving once again that it's the Democratic Party that listens to the people. He's now endorsed Vice President Harris.
The Republican Party of 2024 has been hijacked by Trump and his followers, and we have the opportunity to open up dialogue with our moderate neighbors, friends and families, and help them see that the right choice-- the safe, good, and patriotic choice-- this November is Blue Down the Ballot.
We invite you to join us this season. We're working on a fundraising event, on establishing a presence in our city, and supporting our local, state and national candidates. It's not only a presidential election this year, but we're looking forward to voting for Tim Kaine for U.S. Senate, Ken Mitchell for the 6th District House of Representatives, and for Salem City Council seats. It's going to be a busy 105 days between now and November 5.
