Today, we're voting for women and their right to make their own choices.
We're voting for children to feel safe in their classrooms.
We're voting for the climate, for healthcare, for an opportunity economy that works for all of us, not just the wealthy. We're voting for veterans, for the folks who take care of their family members, for small business owners, and we're voting for a president who promises to work for all of us, not just the folks who supported her.
We're also voting against Project 2025, against a wannabe dictator, against a felon who couldn't even legally serve on our city council.
Thank you to the members of the SCDC, for their tireless work this election cycle. Thank you to the folks who've donated their time or money, working to protect democracy. Thank you to the voters, many of whom may be putting their love of our country over a party that's been hijacked by extremists.
We hope to be toasting with you in the coming days, as we celebrate a new way forward, and to our first woman president. 🥂
